    The All-Campus Programming Board announced the resignation of Vice President Karah Sanders at a meeting held Tuesday morning.

KASA programs granted funding
    Kent African Student Association was allocated more than $6,000 yesterday by the All-Campus Programming Board for the third annual African Night Feb. 26. at the Student Center Ballroom.

Planting trees, recycling to save the environment
    Kent State students can now help save the environment through a new student organization, Students Eliminating Environmental Destruction. SEED was started at the beginning of the 1997 Fall semester, said Dena Berliner, president of the organization.

    A gene mutation that slows the progression of AIDS in adults also helps newborns infected with HIV fend off serious illnesses associated with the disease, a study found.
